Spread this over two days with the luxury of only a day pack carried by Paul! Total of 26 miles . We walked from Clovelly over the cliff tops ( of course) to a tiny place called Welcome . Gorgeous rugged coastline all the way, not so much mud today either and the sun even came out too which was fantastic! We met Pat and family at The old Smithy pub in Welcome for a cider before coming back to Pat and Anne’s for fabulous supper… yet again. This morning Anne dropped us back to Welcome ( after poached eggs on toast for Brekky) to join the track exactly where we left it yesterday . I was nervous about today as it’s said by everyone to be very tough , strenuous , challenging and a LOT of ups and downs over the cliffs ….. it did not disappoint ! We did have a Awesome bonus of descending down a huge cliff to find a coffee and cake car parked at the bottom wahoo, Also turned out the owner had lived in Nelson for five years ( where Paul lives)! We are now back in Woolley for another cider and great company . Tomorrow we leave from where we left the track in Bude . We are now officially in Cornwall .
