Snow conditions today and more ahead of us …hohum

Clearly we are here too early in the season , having to rethink our approach to this as for the next couple of weeks at least these snowy conditions will continue and we have to climb even higher . Heard this morning ice axe and crampons are required and experience, so what to do as that's NOT us???We may have to back track and sit it out for a bit or head up north further ( by transport) but then the late wintery weather will be up there too🤔 ..... we will get back to you with our solution . Here are a few photos of what we woke up to this morning .

End of the line

We made it to the finish post , 650 miles from Minehead to South Haven Point . It was so special to have Cherry, Jolly and Peter joining us for the last days walking . Many thanks to all those people

Gee ... so you do have some decisions to make! ... Options: Firstly you have responsibly realised you both no chance to go from where you are now So: 1: You can wait it out which that could be 10+ days 2: Is there anther safer route like beside the highway you can use? 3: You bypass this section (for now) and move to the best follow-on jump off point to resume the expedition without delay 3: Not sure if you can return to cover this missed portion after the walk but thats something you can decide much later as required.

gee, ok so if the go-north bypass option is also snowed then how about you simply call it a 7 day rest week. Go meet the locals, do the sights and watch the weather forecasts and decide this coming Sunday your best move? Surely in 7 days time you will have all the answers you need to make a decision, especially the next 10 day WX forecast that you really need to make the best decision. Can you get any input from the some experienced locals regarding what they think?
